Our First Two Weeks

It has been a wonderful and tiring two weeks... the days have gone by so fast! Emelia (AKA "Emmy") is doing great. On Friday, she had her two week checkup; she has gained 5.5 oz. to put her at 7 lbs. 8.6 oz. (this girl can EAT!), and is in the 25th percentile for height, weight and head circumference. We have gone in her room several times and found that she has rolled onto her side from her back. She also holds her head up quite well on her own... a prodigy, of course!

This week, she met her St. Louis grandparents, who fell in love with her. Next up, she can't wait to meet her Granny from Philadelphia this Friday! Unfortunately Chris' two week vacation comes to an end tonight, as he has to return to work in the morning. It will be a tough transition for all of us.

Here are a few pictures of the little beauty. And yes, she does open her eyes (but normally that happens at 4:00 a.m.)!

Thanks for the swing, Aunt Crystal and Uncle Matt... Emmy LOVES it and consequently, so do we!!!
