Well, the plan was for our birthmother to be induced this morning at 7:00 a.m., but Miss Emelia had something else in mind. We planned to drive up to Dallas after Chris got off work on Friday and spend the weekend with Crystal and Matt to be up there "just in case."
Things started rolling last Thursday night; the birthparents called us and we planned to have lunch together on Saturday. On Friday morning though, we got a call at 9:30 a.m. that Emelia was on her way. We then zoomed up 35 and made it for the delivery with 10 minutes to spare!!!
Emelia Claire Coffey was born on Friday, July 3 at 1:03 p.m.
7 lbs., 2 oz.
20 inches long
(...and she is rocking a full head of beautiful black hair!)
