Well (trumpets, please)... a decision has been made. We attended an all day domestic adoption orientation at Gladney in Fort Worth on Friday, and we were blown away! Though sad about China, we are going to withdraw and start the steps for a domestic adoption. Now for the exciting news... that means we could become parents in 2009!
We have to get all of our paperwork from GWCA now, and submit it to Gladney. Good news is they think we'll be able to transfer almost everything; we already contacted our social worker today so she can get to work on rewriting our home study. So much to do... now it does seem real that we will be parents!
*As for the change in this site's look... switching to domestic means we could get a baby girl OR a baby boy, so we're going gender neutral :)
