Swimming, Sitting and Smiling

Emelia turned 12 weeks old yesterday... and seems to be changing and growing at warp speed. In the past two weeks, she has developed so much! Although she has always been a fan of bathtime, she has taken it to a new level lately. She LOVES to kick and splash; we've even had to relocate the bathtub from the kitchen sink to inside the real bathtub because she was soaking everything around her.

Yesterday we broke down and bought a Bumbo chair... so we'd have another way to help her learn to sit. She looks like a little person in it and can hold her head up well (without too many head bobs). She took to it and now has her own seat for when she is forced to watch football with Daddy.

There is an abundance of smiles. She is always grinning ear to ear when we go into her room at 4:00 in the morning to change or feed her. She has also started making all sorts of noises in the past week, which keeps us entertained.
