2 Months Old!

Emelia is two months old today... we cannot believe how quickly time has passed! She is growing and changing each day before our eyes, and we still cannot get over how lucky we are.

The last month was one of more firsts... first visits from Aunt Kim and Grandad, first trips to restaurants (sunset at the Oasis and Tex Mex at the new Santa Rita by our house), first outings to friends' houses (fun with the Browns and the Shields), and a first visit from Aunt Lori (though she was pretty dopey and slept most of the way through it).

Today was Emmy's big doctor's appointment - the two month check up AND vaccinations. Our little chunk now weighs 11 pounds even and is 22.5 inches long (50% percentile). She suffered through three shots in her thighs and one oral vaccine. We have never seen her cry so hard, with tears spilling down her cheeks... BUT by the time we hit the elevator, she was all smiles again. What a CHAMP :)
